Role – Senior Embedded C Developer
Location – Hybrid, Bournemouth one day a week
Salary – up to £60,000

The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded C Developer to play a pivotal role within a dynamic aerospace software development team. You will be responsible for ensuring software meets high technical and quality standards. You will get the opportunity of further developing your experience in Misra C or expand into this area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technology in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and support embedded software in C, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Produce and review comprehensive documentation detailing software development processes.
- Utilise a variety of engineering tools across the software lifecycle, including Configuration Management, Requirements Management, and Modelling tools.
- Present technical materials effectively to diverse audiences, tailoring language and content appropriately.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior team members to support their development.
The Person We are looking for a skilled and adaptable engineer with a passion for excellence and problem-solving.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 6 years' commercial experience in embedded software development.
Essential Skills: - Strong proficiency in C programming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving expertise and adaptability to dynamic challenges.
The role is paying up to £60,000 depending on experience and can carried out on a hybrid basis where you will spend one day a week onsite just outside of Bournemouth.
